Summer Programs - 2011

Schedule and Enrollment

One week Summer Workshops (for ages 8-16) and Art Camps (for ages 5*-10) are held Monday – Friday, 10 AM – 1 PM. Please see our Summer Programs main page for class descriptions. All classes will take place in our San Francisco studio.

Summer Workshops may be repeated. Students enrolling for more than one session will work on more advanced and customized projects within the same curricular range.

Art Camps 1, 2, 3 and 4 offer different projects and art experiences so students are encouraged to sign up for all four camps if interested. You may sign up for Art Camps in any order, however students should not enroll in the same camp twice, as the curriculum is not designed to be repeated.

*As a pre-requisite for enrollment in Art Camp, all 5 year olds must schedule a Free Introductory Class to determine readiness. Please call our office to discuss scheduling.

Availability of the following classes will depend on enrollment. If you are interested in a particular class in a week other than is listed, please let us know. Additional classes may be added or substituted based on demand.

Each week three different classes are offered. Please specify which class you are enrolling for on BOTH your registration form and your check.

Registration Fee

$15 per student upon enrollment
(ONLY if the student is not already registered at ArtWorks)

Tuition

1 workshop or camp	$210/week
2-4 workshops or camps	$195/week (each)
5 or more workshops or camps	$180/week (each)

Discounts are based on the total number of workshops/camps per family.
Above fees are for 15 hours of class time and include all materials.

PAYMENT OF FEES
Full payment is due with registration. Until payment is received, the student’s place cannot be guaranteed. If you would like to pay by credit card, please call our office. Tuition is not transferable due to poor attendance or missed classes.

WAITING LIST
Students will be enrolled on a “first come first served” basis. Any payments received after a workshop is full will be held on a waiting list if requested. If the student cannot be placed, all payments will be refunded in full.

REFUNDS
Refunds for cancellations are available ONLY if notification is 3 weeks or more prior to the workshop’s start date. If cancellation is made within 3 weeks of the start date and we are able to fill the spot from a wait list or otherwise, full payment will be refunded. There are no refunds for missed classes, or for dismissal due to discipline problems.

Policies

GUESTS – We regret that guests may not be brought to class.

MAKE-UPS – No make-ups are given for missed classes.

SNACKS – Students should bring a healthy snack to class each day. Please mark the student’s first and last name on his or her snack.

DISCIPLINE – Any child found to be disruptive to the program may be dismissed from the class with no refund.
